PDF Architect 7 deinstallieren geht nicht

Bei einem Update auf PDF Creator 4.1.0 hat sich der Architekt 7 ungefragt und ungewollt installiert. Dieser lässt sich nicht mehr deinstallieren. Ich habe, wenn ich entweder den Uninstaller oder über die Systemsteuerung deinstallieren will, die Auswahl zwischen Repair, Modify und Remove. Wenn ich auf Remove klicke, muss ich danach auf Modify klicken um ein Modul zu deinstallieren. Danach habe ich keine Möglichkeit, den Menüpunkt Main Application - Core auszuwählen, dies ist ausgegraut.Das gleiche Spiel wenn ich gleich Modify auswähle, Repair bringt auch nix.

Bitte um Hilfestellung zum Deinstallieren.

VB.Net and Crystal reports not able to extract Tokens

Hi
I am trying to print a Report from Crystal Reports to PDF Creator. I am using a custom Profile whereby I am creating PDF and Sending email to a recipient. I have defined the Email address in a User Token [[[CustomerEmail:john@doe@com]]]

PDF Creator is not able to generate email. However when I am doing the same thing using Notepad or MS Word or even MS Access, the email gets sent the way intended. Please advise what could be the issue.

PDF Preview printer

Hi there,

I believe back in the day there was Reg keys to allow previews of PDF's before printing but cannot seem to find them.

I was wondering if anyone know what they would be. Believe they were called this before:
PDFCreatorProfiles.reg
PWPSPDFCreatorProfiles.reg
ClientPDFCreatorProfiles.reg

It created another printer along side the PDFCreator printer. The new one would create a preview.pdf on a shared drive.

Is it not able to import JPEGs and compile them to 1 PDF file?

PDFCreator 4.1.0 COM Interface is missing/broken

I'm using the COM interface from a Visual Foxpro program and with the latest PDFCreator version 4.1.0 has stopped working.
The PDFCreator.PDFCreatorObj and PDFCreator.JobQueue objects are no more instantiable.

PdfCreator's way to convert from Word

Hi All,

In my business's software we need to convert Microsoft Word documents to pdf, in order to send these to external partners. This conversion is normally done by using Word non-interactively, with a Word macro.
This method has one disadvantage: the pdf's size is huge. Every now and then the size exceeds the maximum accepted by transfer protocols.
In my search for an alternative I found PDFCreator, which produces great pdf's with remarkable smaller sizes.
I am now researching the option to use PDFCreator for conversion, but in my testing I noticed one thing: PDFCreator uses Microsoft Word for this conversion (a Word-window pops up during creation).
So obviously PDFCreator utilizes Word to create a pdf with an acceptable size.

Here is my question: How does PDFCreator do this?

Sorry if this knowledge is some kind of pdfforge's business secret :slight_smile: but then I would also like to know that.
PS. No pictures/graphics are used in my documents.

Can't install PDFCreator / Install PDF printer

Hey there,

I've been working on this for hours... I cannot reinstall PDFcreator because it cannot install printers. So I get the message about repairing and then the error that it cannot be repaired contact your administrator or support. I've been running everything as an admin.

Things I've tried:

PrinterHelper.exe /InstallPrinter PDFCreator /PortApplication “C:\Program Files\PDFCreator\PDFCreator.exe”

Deleting the registry key with Pdfmon

I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times.

Restarted multiple times.

Scoured the registry for everything related to PDFCreator and PDFForge and deleted it all.

Given permissions to C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\x64\PSCRIPT5.dll and removed it.

Probably many more things (just google "Can't Install PDFCreator" and I've tried everything ever suggested).

I am desperate. Please help!

Conversion de JPG en PDF

Bonjour à tous, je suis confronté à un problème de conversion des fichiers JPG. Le fichier PDF généré est systématiquement tourné de 180° (la tête en bas). Suis-je seul dans ce cas ? Y a-t-il un réglage particulier de PDFCreator pour éviter cela ? Merci d'avance de votre retour.

PDFCreator isn't working after Windows 10 update

Hello,

In June i've installed some of the latest Windows 10 updates. But after this updates PDFCreator wasn't working anymore. When i install the latest version i receive the following error during installation (installation finishes but nothing is working. When opening PDFCreator i receive same error as during the installation)

Anyone an idea or having same troubles?

PDF Creator in Power Shell

Hallo,
I tried to use a PDFCreator in a Power Shell Script on Windows 10:
I create the object:

$PDFCreator = New-Object -ComObject PDFCreator.JobQueue

But when I run it I get the following error:

  • $PDFCreator = New-Object -ComObject PDFCreator.JobQueue
  •           ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    • CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (: [New-Object], TargetInvocationException

VBA-Makros funktionieren mit PDFCreator 4.0 nicht mehr

Ich habe ein Excel VBA-Makro zu pdf drucken (COM).

Zusätzlich ein auf das wesentliche reduzierte Test-VBA-Makro.

Getestet unter Excel 2003 und Excel 2016.

Unter PDFCreator 3.5.1: die SUBs haben immer funktioniert .

Update auf PDFCreator 4.1.0: die SUBs funktionieren nicht mehr .

Creator 4 deinstalliert; PC gereinigt; Creator 3 wieder installiert.

Unter PDFCreator 3.5.1: die gleichen SUBs funktionieren wieder.

Creator 3 deinstalliert; PC gereinigt (CCleaner); Creator 4 installiert.

PDFCreator 4.1.0 neu installiert: die SUBs funktionieren nicht mehr .

Der Fehler tritt auf bei:

Set pdfJob = CreateObject("PDFCreator.JobQueue")

Automatisierungsfehler

Laufzeitfehler '-2147024894 (80070002)'

Was kann ich machen?

Used upgrade license option and lost a bunch of licenses!?

I purchased 10 licenses of pdf architect standard.

Weeks later I used the upgrade license function in the "my account" page and purchased 2 license upgrades to pdf architect pro.
After the purchase all I see is the 2 pro licenses and all my standard licenses are gone now!

How does this work? I sent a support request and no response after a whole day.

I'm trying to make working a Dynamics development conected by Citrix (is a termianl server software) with PDFCreator and it doesn't works. I have readen that probably it would works with the terminal server version but I wanted to try before buying the licence.
So I'm searching information about getting a demo of "PDFCreator Terminal Server". Does anyone knows where to get it?

I'm looking for some VBA code to send an existing PDF file to the default printer using PDFCreator. We have PDF files associated with Acrobat Reader. Does anyone have sample code to do that?

Unable to installa PDF printer

Hello, I receive the message "you do not have any PDFCreator printers installed. Most likely there was a problem... do you want to fix this by reinstalling the printers?
But when I click Yes I get the message "PDFCreator was not able to repair your printers. Please contact your administrator or the support to assist you with this problem".
Could you help me?

Limit on PostScript custom Page Size?

Hi

I'm having trouble with printing with the use of "postscript custom page size", when I select the option fill in 393x210mm, click "OK", and "OK" in "PDFCreator Advanced Options" window and "PDFCreator Document Properties", everything seems fine...
If I go back in to check the the "page size" in "PDFCreator Advanced Options" it is changed back to default A4 :frowning:
Im trying to use PDFCreator from Word 2019

Can someone explain why the page size is changed back to default A4?
