My humble request, and for the sake of my sanity and likely many others who go through the exact same process, is to add window position memory to PDFCreator. This should open each window at its last position unless that position would make the window completely off-screen.

Hi,
since for a couple of days PDFCreator was giving me issues, I decided to update it to the latest version released, 4.0.4.
The problem is that PDFs are now printed, only that the generated file is no longer previewed, but the following message appears in its place.
Critical Error!
Failed to check launch permissions.
Failed to communicate with Windows service to check "PDF Architect 7 - MDI-APP" application data.
Interfaccia non registrata.
[Interface not registered.]
The exact same message appears when I try to launch PDF Architect (which is installed) from PDFCreator.
[You have already installed PDF Architect on your computer - Launch PDF Architect]
I have already tried to uninstall PDFCreator, reboot, reinstall it and then reboot again, but the issue persists.
What should I do? (I have an old PC with Windows 7 intended for retirement, but as long as it resists I'd like to keep using it!)

ich habe folgendes Problem, habe PDFCreator istalliert und Drucker konfiguriert. Nun ist es so, wenn ich eine Datei als PDF "Drucke" kommt erstmal nichts und in dem Ordner wo es abgepeichert werden soll, wird auch nichts hinterlegt. ABER! Sobald ich das Programm ausführe (PDF Creator) dann werden alle vorher gedruckte seiten als PDF in dem dafür vorgegebenem Ordner hinterlegt.
Jemad eine Idee was ich da falsch mache? Bedanke mich im Voraus!

Hello,
Since one week we have the message "Do you trust this printer" when we try to print on the PDFCreator share printer.
It's impossible to bypass the warning message and it's impossible to print even with admin rights.
If we print on another share printer on the same print server, there is no warning message and all works fine.
What is wrong with PDFCreator driver ?

Guten Morgen.
Nachdem ich jahrelang mit FreePDF gearbeitet habe, der nun aber unter Win10 nicht mehr das tut, was ich will (u.a. werden PDF nur noch als Grafik abgelegt, nicht mehr als durchsuchbarer Text) bin ich auf den PDF Creator umgestiegen.
Bin an sich auch sehr zufrieden, stoße aber immer wieder auf ein, man mag es so nennen, Luxusproblem:
Ich lege EMails nach Themen (u.a. großer Hobbybereich) und dort nach Quellen sortiert ab. Dateiname ist fast ausschließlich bestehend aus Datum und Uhrzeit der EMail. Der EMailclient ist Thunderbird in der aktuellen Version.
Nun zu meiner Frage bzw. meinem Fragenkatalog:
Wie bringe ich den PDF Creator dazu mir grundsätzlich nur die Option "Speichern unter" anzubieten (Ablage der Emails in entsprechenden thematischen Verzeichnissen) und wie erkläre ich ihm, dass der Speichern-Dialog immer an der gleichen Stelle erscheint oder zumindest das Datum und die Uhrzeit nicht verdeckt (Speicherkriterium). Ich habe schon alles versucht, aber entweder steige ich durch die Konfiguration nicht durch oder ich bin echt etwas zu betriebsblind.

I have seen other tickets for the Licence Renewal, and read through those. I have the same problem as that, and checked the services already and is running automatically. I have already restarted it and it is still throwing up the error every week and causing lots of problems. This was not a problem until we renewed it back in April. I need some assistance with this.

Hi, I have long struggled with some .jpgs printing out rotated. I have browsed past solutions involving Ghostscript setting boxes and registry key edits. As a total novice, I would be very grateful for a step-by-step guide to fixing this problem. I have version 4.04 and cannot see the settings screen a previous solution showed, nor find orientation settings in my settings menu.

Hello all
I have program that uses the PDF program to print to it. meaning we send a file to print to PDF it autosaves the file as PDF at a certain folder we defined. It works great.
The problem is that if we use via a task scheduler it doesn't work, the program seems to ignore the scheduler.
Can anyone Help?
