I just downloaded the new version 8 (pdf architect) for windows - to see the look....
in version 7 there used to be create-from scanner
in this free version I do not see this anymore. Has this been removed ? or at a different location ?

A useful featuire of PDF Creator is the Metadata section, which can incorporate variable information into PDF filenames. Having searched the knowledge base, the forum and the user guide and the help file, there isn't a single mention of Metadata. Is the metadata feature documented anywhere?

Hello, I am having some issues with PDFCreator, here is an overview of the issue.
I have 2 users that have had PDFCreator 1.2.3 on their WIN10 PC, we use that version because it works for the PrinterServer, we tried to update in the past, but have had some issues with the new versions.
We have some specific configurations, that we input once the software is installed, that want PDFCreator to generate.
On the WIN10 PCs, when you try to launch it, the program shows up in the Task Manager, but then exits a second later
Last report it was working Nov 6th, then on the 9th, the program fails to load.
USING WIN7 PC
I have installed PDFCreator 1.2.3 on a WIN7 pc and had them test it, for a few days it worked then we got this error

Working in a company who use PDF creator 1.7.3 for creating pdf with MS ACCESS 2000.
And since ~6 week PDF creator 4.2.0 are installed on our PC no matter the Windows version or if PDF creator 1.7.3 is already installed or not.
Is there any know Software who install it automatically ?

Ich verwende den PDF Server.
Leider wird manchmal ein PDF mit weissen Hintergrund erzeugt. Dadurch wird mein hinzugefügtes Hintergrundbild (Logo) verdeckt. Mit einem alten Ghostscript geschieht dies nicht.
Hierzu hätte ich zwei Fragen

Hallo zusammen,
ich nutze die kostenfreie Version von PDF Creator um Dokumente in PDFs zu konvertieren.
Jedoch bekomme ich bei der Speichern-Maske einen Fehler: Internal Ghostscript Error. (29100)
Eine Neuinstallation konnte das Problem ebenfalls nicht beheben. In der Registry finde ich ebenfalls aus anderen Topics diesen Ordner nicht.
Kann mir jemand helfen? Ich benötige BITTE dringend einen Lösungsansatz.

Hi
I'm having issues installing PDFCreator on my pc.
When I run the installations file nothing happens, after the popup . Just 4 seconds of the mouse icon showing as "thinking", but then nothing
I run it as administrator, and I have have already removed previous version of PDFCreator.
I have tried with 4.2.0, but also with previous versions.
Any suggestions how to fix this?

Hi all,
I have tons of emails saved as .msg files. Each message contains attachements (microsoft office format)
Now I have to convert each of them to PDF : the memo and all attachements.
One PDF file per .msg file.
This works fine interactively with GUI.
But I would like to do it with command line, in order batch print all my .msg files.
I have created a new PDF printer, with a non interactive profile; but it doesn't work.
I am not able to print the memo and the attachment; I only have either the memo or either one (and only one) of the attachments.
Do you think is it possible? and if so, do you have any idea how I can do ?

Office H&B 2016 (32bits) or Office 365 (64bits)
I would'like to use PDFCreator but I have an error when i use E-mail functionnality, error 11999.
For information, Outlook launch and the mail is create with the good information but only the attachments create this error.
I try with Outlook close or open.
In the Profils parameter, i try to use the Check E-Mail Client but nothing happend.
I see this topic (from 2017 : receiving-error-11999/11398/6) but it's a the solution for me.

Wir nutzen PDFCreator mit den Benutzertokens seit Längerem ohne Probleme. Läuft!
Es kommt jedoch gelegentlich vor, dass wir Tokens im Dokument haben, die einen Zeilenumbruch (CR/LF) enthalten. Diese werden dann nicht aufgelöst!
Wenn das Token im Fließtext einen Zeilenumbruch hat (ohne CR/LF) funktioniert es problemlos.
Gibt es hierfür eine Abhilfe? Ein Ersetzen von CR/LF mit anderen Zeichen wäre mir das Liebste...

I have an issue when printing in PDF Creator to a tiff or jpg file..when you save the document there are pages that wind up upside down and reversed. What I mean by this is rotating the page 180 degrees and mirroring the image so the text is backwards.
The pages only show this way when printing to a tiff or jpg. If I print to a pdf the results comet fine except for some too pages are zoomed way out. I can not find anything that would lead me to why this is happening.
Any help is much appreciated.

I have a customer who's using an Excel application (32-bits, never adapted for 64-bits), and the developer tells his customers to download PDFCreator 1.6.2 off of his web site.
I'm not familiar with the application; this seems like a fairly old version. Are there any security issues to be concerned with? Any known vulnerabilities?

I installed a version 4.2.0.10 and OutputfFileNames in E-mail text is not working. Other Tokens are ok. I have <OutputFilenames> in Subject and in Text, but the result is <OutputFilenames>, instead of a real filename. Everything works ok on other PC were I have an older version of PDFCreator (v4.0.3.)
I tried to reinstall it, but it didn't help. Any Idea?

We are using pdfCreator 4.2.0 for Terminal User. We are working with Group Policies to disable changes to certain settings. We have activated the group policy for the profile tab. Now we want to make changes to the profile but unfortunately I have no access to the settings even though I have changed the group policy for the profile settings (I changed it to "not configured"). I have also tried to reinstall pdfCreator, but without success. I would really appreciate your help.

Hi, I've recently installed PDFCreator on my machine but the app does not open.
Event Viewer indicates and issue with hx64.dll.
Any ideas for this one?

Lors du déplacement de quelques fichiers pdf dans le but de fusionner en un seul ficher pdf, certains pdf sont bien importés dans le tampon et d'autres ne le sont pas. Impossible glisser ces fichiers. Le seul moyen est de les ré-imprimer en pdf pour qu'ils arrivent dans la file tampon.

ich habe Probleme mit der Lizensierung des pdfCreators für Terminalserver 4.2.0 und versuche mich mit dem Lienzserver zu verbinden. Ich bekomme die Meldung, dass der Account disbaled ist:
Wenn ich versuche "Request Credentials" bekomme ich eine Meldung, dass ich in Kürze eine E-Mail erhalte, jedoch kommt diese niemals an. Die E-Mail Adresse ist korrekt, da ich damit die Lizenz gekauft habe. Wer kann mir helfen?

En fait, j'en ai un certain nombre pour mes besoins, j'avoue que je n'ai pas envie de tout recréer...

EDIT : j'ai trouvé un fil en Anglais, c'est tout simple : options, débogage, paramètres d'exportation puis 'Sauver...' depuis l'ancien PC puis 'Charger...' depuis le nouveau. Parfait
