PDFCreator Legacy Version and Windows 10

I know that support for legacy versions (pre 1.2) ended long ago. BUT.... we have inherited legacy VBA code that uses v1.7.1 and worked on Windows 7 running office 2010

We must upgrade to Win10 and for the moment stay with Office 2010. AGAIN, this is due to the need to support a legacy set of Excel workbooks. The whole system is being replaced but in the interim we have to get to Win10. So we have built replacement machines running Office 2010 on win10.

The problem is that I am finding it difficult to have the existing VBA code recognise that the PDFcreator control is registered. It shows up in the VBA references but VBA throws a class not registered error when an attempt is made to create a new instance of the PDFCreator class.

I understand that after v1.7 the whole control interface was rewritten and it is not backwards compatible.

We do not have resource or time to rewrite all of this code.

Is there a way to get legacy pdfcreator v1.7.1 registered on win10?

Thankyou in advance.
