Printing to PDF in MS Word causes a large decrease in quality compared to other PDF printing programs

As you can see, clear artifacts present in the PDF Creator output. I messed around with settings in word and PDF creator and I'm at a loss.

I prefer PDF Creator's UI, so help me out here.
